TASTING NOTES
Deep cherry red colour, clean and bright, with slight brick hues. Intense aromas of ripe fruit and chocolate well combined with toasty and spicy undertones. The impression in the mouth is pleasant and well structured, with a great balance between fruit and toasty notes, vanilla, and balsamic. Aged 14 months in new American and French oak casks.
ABOUT THE WINERY
The winery’s vineyards for its Crianza lie at a very high elevation of 800 meters and are among the most dramatic and steep in Rioja. The vines reach up to 100 years of age and are located within a Biosphere reserve, where they are cultivated organically.
