TASTING NOTES
This Tinta Negra (also known as Saborinho in the Azores and Molar in Colares) is planted very close to the sea, and was 30% whole bunch, native fermented with 40 days of skin contact and aging 8 months in French barrels. This lighter red (11.5%) matches its lighter crimson hue, and crunchy red currant, rhubarb, and tight red florals. Tannins are fine and sticky, while acidity is marine fresh, with lashes of salinity through the snappy finish.
